ok guys, well here is the tyranid tactics that everyone has been asking for. once again i hope you guys enjoy these as much as I love doing them. ok let's get started.
How would you like to just completely rip apart your enemies limb from limb?!?! Is it asking to much to have 120 guys in your army while the other guy only has 40 and it's still AN EQUAL POINTS MATCH!?!?well then head to the tyranid farm where you can raise them all and pick which one you like such AS...RIpPeR SwArMs!!!!! to.....uhhh....well i guess a BiO-TiTaN!!!!! ok kidding aside..really today is going to be about genestealers just cause they are my favorite and they should be yours too. Most of what all tyranids are made up of are their bio-morphs. Here's a few that i think genestealers most of all shouldn't be without.
#1-Feeder tendrils-However they came across this morph through the Emperor only knows what, but these allow you to re-roll missed hits in Close Combat. A good thing too is say you have any kind of tyranid around ya within 2" also has the ability.
#2-Rending Claws-Allows rending on wounds in Close Combat which for you means that you will kill more if you roll a 6 all the time lol. Really all rending claws do are if you are in CC and in the wounding stage of it and you have rending claws on your guys then on a roll of 6 on any number of dice you automatically wound w/o a saving throw.
#3- Scything talons-These are pretty easy to explain...extra attack. That's right with these bad boys you gain an extra attack in CC plain and simple.
#4-Toxin Sacs- Another easy one. +1 strength which you'll need always i guarantee it.
And Number Last (#5)- Extended Carapace-A +1 to your save so your genestealers can keep on fighting and still be even tougher. In other words if he's usually a 5+ now he's a 4+. They will last longer trust me. They also won't be killed instantly by some troops STR-5 AP-5 weapon
In conclusion, with all of these items in combination with each other they can be perceived as the most lethal CC weapon in the entire 40k universe..well almost lol. It will however be a tough competitor against those that are pretty hard to fight against. That's it guys thank you very much, and let me know what you think of it.
That's it for Warhammer 40k Tactica. Please guys let me know what you think of these ideas and post comments on anything you think I should do different in way of format or wording. It will help in my next post of Warhammer 40k Tactica in the weeks ahead. Thank you and good gaming.
